Grab bars, handrails, railings and ramps for your home
We install grab bars, second stair handrails, front-step railings and ramps in houses in Markham, Richmond Hill and Burlington.
Our steel railings for front steps are shop-built to our standard, and we set the posts into the concrete. Most jobs have a fixed price. Send us photos and we reply with a written price. We aim to reply within one business day.
What we install
Prices are in Canadian dollars, supplied and installed. HST is added where it applies. Minimum job $349.

Front-step and porch railings
$1,195 one side, $2,095 both sides
Round steel handrail for up to 5 steps, shop-built to our standard, black powder coat, posts set into the concrete. Porch and landing guards are quoted.

Second stair handrail
$695 for a straight stair up to 4 m
A handrail on the other side of an indoor stair, in wood or aluminum, with returns at both ends. Short wall handrails up to 1.5 m are $349.

Grab bars
$349 for the first bar, $110 for each extra bar
Stainless grab bars fixed into studs, solid blocking or rated wall anchors. We test each bar with a pull gauge before we leave.

Ramps
Quoted after a free home visit
Modular aluminum ramps with platforms and handrails, shop-built steel ramps, and threshold ramps. We visit to measure before we quote.

Stairlifts
We do not sell stairlifts yet. We can give you the names of stairlift dealers who serve your area, and we can add handrails to your stairs.
How quoting works
- Send us photos with the form, by email or by text. Or call and we book a visit.
- We reply with a written price. We aim to reply within one business day. If we cannot tell from the photos, we offer a short video call or a home visit to measure.
- You accept online, by phone or in person. There is no deposit on jobs under $1,000.
- We install and test the load on every bar, rail and post. Railing posts are tested after the grout has set. You get photos of the finished work with the invoice.
A home visit to measure and quote is free for railings and ramps. For other work it costs $99, and we credit it in full to any job you book within 60 days.

We add a city to this list only when we can work there. If your city is not listed, you can still send a request. We will tell you if we cannot quote it yet.
Who comes to your home
Our installers wear a photo ID badge with our company name. You can call our office at 437-981-2080 to check who is coming. You are welcome to have a family member or anyone you trust at any visit.
If you are arranging work for a parent, you can fill in the form for them. We speak with the person who lives in the home, and for jobs over $2,000 we offer to send the written quote to a person they name.
